My ex said I'll never find anyone as amazing as him and the more I look around I can only remember those words and wonder if that's really true. it's been 3 yes & I'm not over him. Does it get better?

Perfect therapy for people who need help. I would like to say, I never can imagine it could be possible to heal people like that

I have been through a lot in life too, which helps me to be able to empathize with situations, thoughts and feelings that we have. Sometimes, it's not easy just being human.

It can take a long time to get better but I believe it does, someone amazing to him will be different to someone who you find amazing

If this fellow was a snickers bar covered in a million dollars he wouldn't be all that great, because he's getting himself up by putting you down. Everyone deserves better than that, even mothers-in-law, even lawyers and even people who don't put back their shopping carts in the mall parking lot. You deserve to be treated with respect and valued, and there is ALWAYS someone out there who will respect and value you. All you need to do is decide that you deserve to be treated better and get out there and find Prince Charming. Best of luck to you!

Yes. You'll find someone when the time is right. Until then don't overthink it. If you go searching too hard it might pass you by. Focus on falling back in love with yourself first. If you are content with yourself your beautiful glow will radiate all around and that is how you will come to meet a wonder and caring partner who will support you instead of breaking you down. Trust in yourself, give it time, and forget those negative words that were said to you three years ago. Don't allow those words to keep seeding doubts in your mind! Good luck!

Yes, it will definitely get well. I can say you from my personal experience, you will find the right guy.. I know it hurts right now and you may feel sometimes that things are not working out or may be he was right.. But trust me, things will get definitely better and once you find the right person, you will look back and realise how wrong was your ex. He is your ex right? "Ex" For a reason.. That person was not right for you and that's why you guys broke up.. So try to keep that in mind.. Am sure you will feel more confident.
