Give it time. Healing only comes after a period of time, so don’t put too much pressure on yourself to get over the breakup quickly. In the meanwhile, allow yourself to feel whatever emotion: happy, sad, angry etc. You might be tempted to hold it all in and keep it together, but it's important to accept your emotions. It’s also totally valid to feel this way right now. Try doing things that you like and distract yourself: hang out with friends and family; discover new activities; but most importantly, focus on yourself! You're definitely not alone in this, and don't forget to talk about it with someone you trust, or one of the trained listeners on 7cups! Opening up helps :)
