Anxiety of all sorts can be caused by something so simple as a chemical imbalance. Nervousness doesn't rightly need a reason, per se, but nonetheless, it has one—if not a conventional one.

I personally think, that there is always a reason. We don't feel emotions without a reason. Mostly we are nervous because we are scared. We worry about the close future or we are not self-confident in what we are doing right now. Sometimes we are nervous, when we think to much what other people expect from us and if we do everything right. Nobody knows 100% what happen in the future and we don't know always, what other people think or how they feel about us. This makes us uncertain. We struggle. We get nervous. My tipp: Think and try to feel if you have any thoughts or feelings in this directions and if they are TRUE.

Perhaps, you might not feel nervous at the moment. But we often carry this burden of past thing that made us feel nervous like a deadline for a huge project that you thought you were not going to be able to hand in on time. I recommend writing both past and future things that have/had made you feel nervous. Then cross out all the things that you already finished! This helps that part of your brain that's making you feel nervous, feel a little better! So you can feel totally stress free in every moment in you day!

Sometimes as humans, we tend to stress, and sometimes stress builds up due to overthinking to nothing at all. Our brain might produce too much Cortisol (stress hormone) and it can cause us to develop chronic stress. It is good to talk with your doctor or talk it out with someone to help you better understand.

I also tend to be nervous for seemingly no reason (e.g. in certain social situations) and it has gotten to a point where I would freeze up or start trembling in public. It has really interfered with my life at times. I have recently been diagnosed with an anxiety disorder, which explains a lot of these symptoms. I don't mean to diagnose you in any way, but do you think that you may be experiencing some type of anxiety? What types of situations do you find particularly more uncomfortable than others? It may help if you speak with a primary care physician or therapist if you believe that this nervousness is interfering with your life, so that they can help you discover ways to reduce your nervousness.

Being nervous for a unknown reason can be due to something that happened in the past. For example, if you had a history of feeling nervous and tense. There was probably something that caused you to be nervous back then, and maybe it caused you to be that nervous that it is still affecting you till this day.

For some people, their mind and body just release more chemicals that make them anxious. Talk to your doctor if you really feel you are getting anxious for no reason. Other times, there are triggers to watch out for that happen in our lives that trigger anxious thoughts and feelings.

I would classify that as anxiety, anxiety can be all the time or for periods of time. they can also have triggers.

When I experience nervousness for no reason it's usually due to one of three things: hormones, too much caffiene/not enough healthy food or water, or not enough exercise. It seems like not providing for myself in those ways strips me of my coping skills and I can't handle even the most minor stressors. Anything, especially jealousy triggers my fight or flight response.

Being nervous is a fight or flight response of our body to any threat or danger. When, you are nervous for no reason you are on the state of over thinking any negative future events that lead you to a state of being anxious, tense, nervous, worried, afraid, scared, etc.

Some people are naturally more nervous/anxious/fidgety than others. You could have a type anxiety, though - anxiety is common and affects lots of people. Try to think about situations where you feel the most nervous, and be aware of how often you feel those feelings.

Although it may appear that you are nervous for no visible reason, there are many different underlying causes that can cause nervousness. It might be a good idea to seek the service of a trained therapist!

Being nervous for no reason is part of anxiety- it may be the only part of anxiety you experience, or another part of a bigger anxiety experience, but it's normal. You may be nervous because of a underlying worry, or something in your surroundings that makes you unsure and uncomfortable. When nervous, your brain can mix up threats from friends, and this can make your nervousness worse.

This happens sometimes. There may be a reason and you just don't realize it, or sometimes our brains just play tricks on us and it's frustrating. Try doing something to distract yourself like reading, coloring, watching tv, calling a friend, playing a sport, something you enjoy. Anything that will get your mind off of the nervous feeling you are having. I know it is a frustrating thing though! I'm sorry you are experiencing it.

people feel nervous for no reason because they may be in a situation that makes them feel uncomfortable. It is kind of like how you may be experiencing happiness but you don't even know it, you don't know you are feeling happiness. With feeling nervous their may not be a reason at all. Sometimes we just don't know why?

It may seem like there is no apparent reason for the way you're feeling, but the human sub-conscience is a lot stronger than you might think. It may something that you thought was absolutely trivial, sitting there in the furthest corner of your sub conscience that is actually bothering you and might even be the cause of the way you're feeling.

There usually is a reason for being nervous, think to yourself why and when you could be feeling like this. I used to feel very nervous about talking to new people, and it was because of anxiety, so often there is a reason behind it.

A possible answer to your question could be anxiety. Anxiety is very common and comes in many forms for different people. Often times people do not understand where the origin of their nervousness comes from, when they have anxiety.

There is always a reason. It is important to look beyond yourself and break down the places, people, events, and times when you are most nervous. Try to get to the root of it so you can improve upon it from there. Think about your stressors and worries. Is there anything in your life that could connect to those?

Anxiety gives you no explanation to why it happens. It happens anytime, anywhere, even while you're enjoying yourself. Unfortunately it's just the way our brain works. It seems to think that we are in trouble and goes into fight mode.

Maybe you are thinking of something but haven't realized that it in particular, is stressing you out. Maybe you're ignoring what's stressing you out. Or maybe you're just nervous because something has trained your brain to make it respond that way. I think the best thing to do is ask yourself why you're nervous, and be honest. If that doesn't work, then at least try to calm the nerves by thinking of things that make you not nervous/calm and by doing deep breathing or switching tasks to see if that shifts it.

Many times in life when I am so nervous for no apparent reason is simply because I I'm so scared of making mistakes that people are not going to approve of my actions whether it is verbal or physical I get nervous because I overthink things too much and I have trouble trying to slow down and relax that I'm just being too hard on myself
