Social anxiety, or social phobia, is a long term, overwhelming fear of social situations.
Social phobia usually starts during teenage years, and can affect your life in many ways.
For some people, social phobia will naturally improve with age. However for others, it is something they will experience a lot, and it can be hard to manage those stresses.
