The Importance of Self-Expression
Books, music, paintings, poetry, drama. Since a long, long time ago, art has always been close to our daily lives.
Whether you're just beginning to pick up the crayon or has worked in the creative industry for your whole life, every one of us yearns for the beyond, to bring order for the chaos inside our minds.
Art is a form of communication.
When we have no prefect words to describe the chaos, we turn them into something else that's articulate. Others will feel it too. Sometimes bring their own unique interpretation of it. This connection between you and your creation is precious. No one can copy the exact same style as another artist for this very reason. Art is closely related to our minds and emotions, and every brush stroke, every word, every melody you choose is unique.
Self-expression through creative activities, for certain people, is a necessity. Sometimes they'll even wither without it too. But for people who don't fall into this type, they could find relaxation in it and many more benefits.
Art is a safe way to express your emotions, to discover and rediscover a hidden part of you, to inspire you in life, to communicate and connect with people. Because of that, I invite you to embark this journey with me towards wellness by using self-expression.
