Take a step back!
The first step in moving forward is taking one step back. Often we try to push harder to move forward and still reach nowhere and we try harder. So, whenever you are in similar situations, instead of pushing harder, let’s take a step back.
Suppose, you have a ball of wool in your hand and it is tangled and you need to untangle it. You could rush and try to untangle it as soon as you want to. And, it would lead you to make the ball more complicated to untangle and feel anxious, tired, overwhelmed and not so confident that you would be able to untangle it.
But, try this different view! Instead of rushing, you could stop, take a deep breath and instead of seeing it as a tangled wool that you need to untangle, view it as your favorite spot where you go to relax and unwind. You take your time while you find where the wool thread ends and steadily create a new ball out of a tangled one.
