The earlier in the interaction you say no and stop the temptation, the more success you will experience.
Think of cravings or temptations as a steam locomotive: it begins quietly and slowly but once the train gets a head of steam it becomes loud and powerful. Stamp out the fire in the early going; as Leonardo DaVinci wrote, “It is easier to resist at the beginning than at the end.”
