For many people, the single high-risk worksheet will suffice. For others of you, however, the temptations are coming so frequently or powerfully that we recommend a continuous, daily log.
Using the image as a template for a table, record your daily temptation specifics using the three ABC columns. Use the box below to practice writing the ABCs.
Whether using the 4 W process or a daily log, the purpose remains the same: you are systematically monitoring your urges, identifying warning signs, and determining which of your coping responses work. Your awareness and wisdom are increasing by the day, as you learn what triggers a slip and what coping responses prevent them.
