Step 21: Finding and Creating Purpose
Frankl (2006) taught, “Everything can be taken from a man, but one thing: the last of the human freedom – to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way” (p. 86). While reflecting on your purpose, and focusing on what you know instead of what you do not, answer the following questions in the box below:
- One thing I know about the meaning of my life is…
- If I had 72 hours to live, what I would do with my time is…
- If I could change one thing in the world, what I would change is…
- One thing I am drawn to or I feel is a calling for me and my life is…
