Step 2: Self Assessment of Your Sense of Vision, Purpose, and Life Mission
Honestly assessing how you feel about your vision and mission in life is a first step in growth and change. The “Life Mission Questionnaire,” asks you to indicate how clear you feel about your sense of life purpose, vision and meaning, as well as how committed you are to making that vision a reality. You can use this questionnaire as a self-assessment of your current sense of vision, purpose, and mission and re-assess your vision in life and your commitment to this vision after completing this growth path. Whatever your assessment results may be, it is alright. There is nothing bad, wrong, negative, or unhealthy about any score. Many individuals are not sure what to say about their vision, and mission because they likely have never been asked. They may not have thought much about it, may have talked little about it, and may not even have a language - or words to talk about it. You may know more about your vision or mission than you think. As you spend time thinking about it, and being with it, things can begin to become clearer. This understanding is usually a gradual process - not an event.

Interpreting your Scores:
(i) Vision in Life:
32 or above: You feel a strong sense of meaning, vision, and mission in your life.
24 to 31: Your sense of purpose and mission in life is moderate, suggesting that you may not always feel very clear about your purpose, goals, and mission in life.
Below 24: You have not yet solidified your sense of purpose, meaning, and mission in your life. Consider progressing with this growth path or going through it again after discussing scores with someone you trust.
(ii) Commitment to Your Vision:
16 or above: You feel a strong commitment to fulfilling your life’s vision and mission.
12 to 15: Your commitment to your life’s mission needs bolstering.
Below 12: Your score may indicate a lack of commitment to your life’s vision and mission, or a lack of clarity about your vision for life.
Note: This step is optional, and the Questionnaire is only used for self-assessment purposes and will be of value to determine whether the growth path intervention helped you improve your life’s vision and your commitment to it.
