You’ve learned that: Writing about your experiences can make them better.
Filling out a certificate of forgiveness stating the amount of forgiveness you have experienced will solidify it and help you recall that you truly have experienced emotional forgiveness.
You learned several things you can do if your emotional forgiveness is not complete:
- Repeat Lessons #__ and #__. (If you can’t remember, refer to Exercise 7.3.)
- Use two other emotions to replace the unforgiving emotions: S_____ and L_____.
You learned that you do not have to forgive every little hurt for you to forgive the person. Two or three vivid offenses that are worked through usually are enough to help you feel that you’ve forgiven the person.
