Positive Affirmations
positive affirmations can be really helpful for both managing anxiety and general mental health. They can enable us to develop a positive attitude towards ourselves, and the situations we face.
How can we use affirmations in our life?
Practising daily affirmations as part of your routine can enable you to integrate positivity into your day. It may also help to practice affirmations when you are feeling anxious or stressed. You could make a card with your affirmation, to take with you as a physical reminder. When you find yourself thinking negatively, use this reminder to change your thought patterns.
Here are some affirmations to try:
- I am enough.
- I am in control.
- I am stronger than I understand.
- People who try to bring me down will not succeed.
- My strength is too great to stay in the presence of negativity.
- I am a good and worthwhile person.
- I can achieve anything I want to achieve.
- I’m moving towards my goals.
- My life purpose can be whatever I choose it to be.
- I have inner strength and resources
