Leveling Up the Mindset!
The fifth stage for moving forward involves advancing our mindset for positive growth! Our past experiences shape our future interactions with the outside world, often it happens that the more we've had negative experiences, the less positive outlook we may end up having towards our future or life in general.
Unfortunately, according to a survey only 22% of us never feel lonely and one in ten of us feels lonely often (11%). More than a third of us (42%) have felt depressed because we felt alone. {source: Mental Health Foundation} meaning it can be a common thing to lack support and feel loneliness. Without a proper support system of friends, hobbies and coping techniques, one can feel isolated and alone resulting in feelings of negativity and lack of worth, this can greatly impact creating a positive focus.
Some situational circumstances (like still living with an abusive family or experiencing bullying or a toxic environment) can greatly affect someone's opportunities and abilities to cope often resulting in a hard mindset or struggles taking on a positive focus and attitude.
Despite situational challenges, overall mindset as a result of events and just life can really impact on even wanting to seek a better sense of positivity for growth.
It is important to remember that it's okay to acknowledge how your mindset currently is, no one improves whilst being in denial it's okay to accept your mindset may be holding you back.
