Goal setting!
Setting goals is an essential part of overcoming your social anxiety. Identifying what goals you'd like to reach will help you keep a track of your achievements as we move forward as well helps evaluate if you're making the changes you are ought to make.
It's important that your goals are realistic and as specific as possible. If you're unsure how to set specific goals, that can be done by specifying the details. For example, let's say your goal is to be more comfortable in groups. A more specified version of the goal could be, to be more comfortable making small talk in school/office parties while maintaining eye contact and while speaking loud enough for everyone to hear.
- Make a list of your goals related to overcoming your social anxiety. Try to come up with as many specific goals as possible, categorised as short-term, mid-term and long-term.
