Ensuring Self-Care
Ensuring self-care whilst being an educator can help minimize the risk of burnout and other challenging impacts on your well-being. Some ideas include:
- Have a healthy after-work and home schedule which has room for rest, exercise, and other activities.
- Practice your favorite self-care activities regularly: you can meditate, read a book, connect with family and friends, or journal amongst some common activities.
- Take a break and ask for help when you need it.
