Self compassion involves showing love, acceptance and understanding to ourselves. Most of us are able to show compassion to others but find it difficult to show compassion to ourselves.
Learning to be more compassionate with ourselves can lead to a calmer mind and an increased sense of self worth.
One way that we can show ourselves self-compassion is by allowing ourselves to practice self care.
