What is the Rising Star Program?
It is a program designed to identify and recognize the listeners and members whom the community believes will thrive if they have a specific role in the community. Roles like Room Supporter, Peer Supporter, Mentor, or Project Agent for different areas of the community. To take the raw talent out there who are go-getters and driven individuals and offer them structured support, mentoring, and guidance to shape them into community leaders.
With an aim to invite and onboard more community leaders to support the community activities, we bring to you the “Rising Star Program”. It is an opportunity for community members to collaborate with us and nominate someone of their choice whom they feel are suitable and shine in a role if they will get the chance.
What are the criteria to be a Rising Star?
Anyone who is nominated under this program should stand out on the following parameters:
- Being professional and supportive
- Be kind and compassionate to the fellow community members
- Being approachable
- Always going above and beyond to help and support the community members
- Believe in fostering a healthy and supportive environment
- Willing to try and learn new things
- Can be trusted and dependable with responsibilities
- Proactive in taking action to help and support the community
✅ Anyone who meets the criteria to be a Rising Star can be nominated. Both Listeners and Members. New and Old Listeners and Members.
✅ Anyone can nominate anyone. Self-nominations are welcomed too.
✅ Every individual can be nominated for 1-3 roles. It will help them to pick a role of their choice to help and support the community and stand out on the trust you showed in them. Our intention here is to give an opportunity to these talented people without making them feel overwhelmed with a number of roles.
✅ We will be reaching out to the nominees on your behalf and invite them to be our Rising Stars. If they meet the criteria of a role, they can be on-boarded in the role. But if they do not meet any or all criteria of a role, they will be invited to take part under a trial period while they meet the requirements to get the role.
