The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Washougal, WA, empowers individuals to become passionate advocates and educators for a just and sustainable food system. By offering a tuition-free program, we ensure that all aspiring Fellows have access to transformative organic food system education. During their six-month experiential training at our Allegheny Farm Campus, participants engage in hands-on farm work, learn to grow and distribute diverse crops, and foster community food initiatives, including school gardens and local farmer's markets. Our Fellows are dedicated to promoting health and ecological literacy and have the opportunity to partner with regional non-profits during their Community Action Year, making tangible impacts in their communities. Applications are due by March each year, with the fellowship running from May to October, inviting individuals to join us in cultivating a healthier, more equitable food landscape.
