At the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Wapato, WA, we empower emerging leaders to advocate for a food system rooted in social, environmental, and economic justice. Our program provides invaluable education in organic farming, enabling Fellows to grow and distribute diverse crops while fostering community engagement. Through hands-on training, Fellows learn to implement innovative health care education, support local farmers markets, and promote food and ecological literacy in schools. With no tuition fees, we ensure accessibility for all participants. The Fellowship experience spans six months of immersive learning followed by a year of community action, partnering with regional non-profits to enhance food access and strengthen community ties. Applications are accepted until March each year for a program running from May to October.
