The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Stanwood, WA, is dedicated to nurturing a new generation of advocates for a just and sustainable food system. Our program empowers selected Fellows through comprehensive, hands-on training focused on organic food systems, promoting accessibility by waiving tuition fees. Over the course of six months at our immersive Allegheny Farm Campus, participants gain invaluable experience in diverse areas, including crop cultivation, community gardening, and educational initiatives that enhance food and ecological literacy. Following this foundational training, Fellows engage in a Community Action Year, applying their skills in partnership with regional non-profit organizations. Our mission is to cultivate advocates who will lead the charge for equitable access to healthy food and foster resilience in local communities throughout the region.
