Patty Sonneland

Patty Sonneland is a dedicated counselor with a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology (MACP) and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). She specializes in working with adults who are navigating significant life transitions that prompt them to rethink and restructure their approach to living. These transitions may involve experiences such as a death, loss of health, relocation, divorce, or even trauma—big or small. With specialized training and rich experience in geriatric counseling, Patty supports clients facing challenges related to aging, loss of health, memory issues, and the profound grief of losing close loved ones. She is committed to creating a welcoming, compassionate, and safe space for exploration, allowing individuals to address their current struggles and how unresolved aspects of their past may influence their daily lives. Patty believes that understanding the truth of our stories liberates us to embrace our most authentic selves. Her practice includes both in-person and telehealth appointments, tailored to meet the diverse needs of her clients.
