Emily Willet, MA, LMHC, LPC, is dedicated to providing an inclusive space for her clients, particularly within the LGBTQ+ community. Understanding that coming out to healthcare professionals can be intimidating, Emily strives to foster an atmosphere where individuals feel accepted without needing to explain or defend their identities. With her personal journey of coming out as a guiding force, she has made it her mission to contribute to healing and empowerment for those navigating their sexual, romantic, and gender identities. As a compassionate counselor and fellow queer person, Emily respects each client’s unique experiences and expressions. Her approach emphasizes nonjudgmental therapy, allowing clients to explore their identities, relationships, symptoms, and life circumstances freely. Known for her down-to-earth, conversational style, Emily welcomes individuals from all backgrounds and identities. In addition to her counseling services, she provides assessments and letters for transgender and non-binary clients seeking support for hormone replacement therapy (HRT) or surgical procedures. Understanding that the journey to healthy change can be challenging, Emily holds space for each client’s current position in their path while encouraging their growth and self-discovery.
