The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Snohomish, WA, is dedicated to training and empowering individuals to become advocates for a just food system that prioritizes social equity, environmental sustainability, and economic resilience. This transformative program offers organic food system education, allowing Fellows to engage deeply with diverse farming practices and community initiatives. Participants have the unique opportunity to collaborate with local partners to grow and distribute crops, implement innovative health care educational sessions, maintain community gardens, and enhance food and ecological literacy in schools. Through a six-month immersive experience at the Allegheny Farm Campus, attendees apply their learnings during a Community Action Year alongside regional non-profits. With a commitment to accessibility, the Fellowship does not charge tuition, ensuring that passionate individuals can join the movement towards a healthier food landscape.
