The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Silverdale, WA, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of leaders in sustainable food systems. We empower Fellows with comprehensive organic food system education, emphasizing social, environmental, and economic justice. Our program promotes accessibility by not charging tuition, allowing diverse participants to engage fully in hands-on learning. Throughout a six-month immersive experience at our farm campus, Fellows gain valuable skills in diversified crop production, community gardening, and food literacy. They also collaborate with local partners to enhance community health initiatives and bolster direct-to-consumer programs. After graduation, Fellows lead impactful Community Action Years, where they apply their training through regional non-profit collaborations, ensuring a lasting influence on the local food landscape. Applications are open until March, with the fellowship running from May to October.
