With a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology, she is a fully licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Washington state. Amy is trained in Relational Psychotherapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Attachment Focused Therapy, Filial Play Therapy, and Sand Tray Therapy, enabling her to work effectively with individuals across all ages and diverse families. She provides compassionate treatment for issues related to Adoption and Foster Care, supporting Adult Adoptees, Birth Parents, and families through Birth Family Reunions. Her expertise extends to PTSD, trauma recovery, grief and loss, identity struggles, anxiety, depression, and the effects of sexual abuse and divorce.
