This unique program empowers Fellows through comprehensive, hands-on education in organic agriculture, covering everything from crop diversification to food and ecological literacy. With no tuition fees, we aim to make our fellowship accessible to all. Each selected Fellow engages in a transformative six-month residency at the Allegheny Farm Campus, where they gain practical experience and cultivate vital relationships with regional non-profit organizations. Our mission encompasses supporting farmers markets, enhancing community gardens, and developing new avenues for healthy food distribution, all while fostering collaboration among diverse community partners. Applications are accepted until March, with the fellowship experience typically taking place from May to October, ensuring that our Fellows can effectively apply their knowledge and leadership in the communities they serve.
