At the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Rochester, WA, we are dedicated to cultivating a just and sustainable food system through hands-on education and community engagement. Our fellowship empowers participants to become influential advocates and educators, promoting practices that prioritize social equity, environmental stewardship, and economic viability. During the six-month experiential residency at our farm, Fellows gain practical skills in organic food systems and engage in various initiatives, including growing diversified crops, running educational health programs, and supporting local farmers markets. This program fosters collaboration with regional non-profits and encourages innovative approaches to food and ecological literacy. By creating accessible pathways for learning without tuition, we strive to inspire the next generation of food advocates. Applications are accepted until March each year for the fellowship, which operates from May to October, ensuring a rich and impactful experience.
