At the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Prosser, WA, we strive to cultivate a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. Our program sponsors, trains, and empowers passionate individuals to become effective educators and advocates for sustainable agriculture. We provide comprehensive organic food system education without charging tuition, ensuring accessibility for all. Over the course of six months, Fellows engage in hands-on learning at our farm, immersing themselves in practical experiences such as growing diversified crops, conducting educational sessions, and integrating food literacy into local initiatives. After their fellowship, participants embark on a Community Action Year, collaborating with regional non-profit organizations to apply their knowledge and support community food access initiatives. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the fellowship experience typically running from May to October, inviting those ready to impact their communities positively.
