Cheri Yadon, M.Ed., LPC, LMHC, is an experienced counselor who facilitates clients in discovering their own personal resolutions. With a genuine desire to understand each client, Cheri utilizes her extensive therapeutic skills and knowledge of psychology and human behavior to facilitate growth. She believes that clients are more equipped to devise their own solutions when they take personal responsibility for their creation. Licensed in Washington, Oregon, and Texas, Cheri has received comprehensive training working with trauma survivors, including those dealing with early attachment trauma, PTSD, C-PTSD, dissociation, anxiety, and depression, as well as survivors of narcissistic abuse and the adult children of narcissistic or substance-abuse households. Cheri accommodates clients from diverse religious backgrounds, including those who identify as atheist, agnostic, or non-religious. As an Emdria Certified EMDR Therapist & Approved Consultant, she tailors her approach to fit individual client needs, utilizing a variety of techniques including DBR (Deep Brain Reorienting Therapy), EMDR Therapy, Ego State Therapy, Clinical Hypnosis, and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy.
