The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, based in Mukilteo, WA, is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of advocates for a socially, environmentally, and economically just food system. We empower our Fellows through comprehensive training and hands-on experience, allowing them to engage with innovative agricultural practices while promoting food justice. Our program is tuition-free, ensuring that access to transformative education is available to all. Over a six-month immersive residency, selected Fellows gain practical skills in organic farming, community gardening, and food literacy, while also developing initiatives such as farmers markets and health-focused educational sessions. Upon completion, Fellows embark on a Community Action Year, collaborating with local non-profits to implement their learning in real-world contexts. Applications are accepted until March each year for this impactful opportunity, which runs from May to October.
