The Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program in Mountlake Terrace, WA, is dedicated to empowering individuals recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes through a comprehensive, free, 12-month educational experience. Available in both English and Spanish, this program provides participants with six informative e-booklets designed to address various aspects of diabetes management, supplemented by a monthly e-newsletter that offers seasonal tips and resources. Participants are also encouraged to engage in local community events. By submitting their phone number, enrollees can access the monthly Ask the Experts Q&A series, where they can ask diabetes-related questions directly to ADA experts, learn about the connection between diabetes and heart health, and enjoy giveaways that promote healthy living with diabetes.
