At the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Marysville, WA, we are dedicated to nurturing a new generation of leaders who champion a food system that is just, sustainable, and accessible for all. Our fellowship program provides comprehensive organic food system education without tuition fees, ensuring that our resources are available to everyone. Selected fellows engage in a six-month hands-on experience at our Allegheny Farm Campus, where they learn through practice, growing diversified crops, maintaining community gardens, and implementing educational initiatives that promote food and ecological literacy. After this immersive training, fellows enter a Community Action Year, collaborating with local non-profits to address urgent food assistance needs and foster healthier communities through farmers markets, direct-to-consumer sales, and support for food coalitions. Applications for this transformative experience are due by March each year, with the fellowship running from May to October, empowering fellows to make a lasting impact in their communities.
