The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Greenacres, WA, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of advocates for equitable, sustainable food systems. Through a comprehensive training program, our Fellows engage in hands-on learning that emphasizes social, environmental, and economic justice within the food landscape. Participants benefit from organic food system education, enabling them to grow and distribute diversified crops, implement innovative health education, and enrich community and school gardens. This six-month immersive experience at our Allegheny Farm Campus is tuition-free, ensuring accessibility for all passionate individuals. Following this, Fellows embark on a Community Action Year, collaborating with local non-profits to apply their skills and knowledge in real-world settings. Applications are accepted until March, with opportunities from May to October, as we work together to create a healthier, more inclusive food system for everyone.
