Groceries to Go is a dedicated service of the Des Moines Area Food Bank, located in Federal Way, WA, designed to provide food assistance to seniors and individuals with medical challenges that limit their ability to safely visit a food pantry. Our mission is to deliver nutritious emergency food directly to those in need, ensuring that everyone in our community has access to healthy options during challenging times. Orders can be placed any day of the week until midnight on Monday, with food pickups scheduled for Tuesday afternoons between 1 pm and 3 pm. Participants can select a convenient 10-minute time slot for their arrival, and upon arrival, a shopping cart filled with their selected food items will be ready. For first-time visitors, we will assist with the necessary paperwork upon arrival. We strive to create a seamless experience for recipients, ensuring that getting food assistance is as easy and efficient as possible.
