With over six years of experience in a community mental health setting before founding her private practice in January 2007, Laura is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for her clients. Her approach is person-centered and solution-focused, centered on the recovery model. As a trained practitioner of EMDR (with Part 1 & 2 Trainings completed), she encourages individuals impacted by trauma to explore this effective treatment. During initial sessions, Laura collaborates with her clients to identify treatment goals and develop strategies for achieving them, all while considering the influences in their lives. She prioritizes scheduling to ensure convenience and reduce the likelihood of cancellations, making her practice accessible and flexible for all clients.
