The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Deer Park, WA, is dedicated to fostering a just food system by training and supporting passionate individuals who seek to be advocates and educators in sustainable agriculture. Our fellowship provides immersive, hands-on experiences in organic food system education without charging tuition, ensuring accessibility for all aspiring Fellows. Participants engage in a six-month residential program at our Allegheny Farm Campus, followed by a Community Action Year, where they collaborate with local non-profit organizations to initiate impactful projects. Fellows learn to grow and distribute diverse crops, implement innovative health care educational sessions, maintain community and school gardens, and promote food literacy in educational settings. By empowering the next generation of leaders, we work diligently to increase access to healthy foods and enhance community well-being throughout our region.
