Our program empowers Fellows through comprehensive training in organic food systems, focusing on social, environmental, and economic justice. Offering tuition-free education, we ensure accessibility for all aspiring change-makers. Throughout the six-month immersive experience at our Allegheny Farm Campus, participants engage in hands-on learning while collaborating with local non-profits to grow diversified crops, implement health-focused educational sessions, maintain community gardens, and enhance food literacy in schools. After their fellowship, Fellows embark on a Community Action Year, applying their skills to support farmers markets, develop distribution channels for healthy foods, and foster community food coalition initiatives.
