The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Camas, WA, is committed to fostering a socially, environmentally, and economically equitable food system through dedicated training and empowerment of emerging leaders. Our program expertly combines hands-on organic food system education with actionable community impact, allowing selected Fellows to immerse themselves in an experiential, residential learning environment at our Allegheny Farm Campus. Over the course of six months, Fellows engage in substantial initiatives, from cultivating diversified crops on a market-style farm to implementing innovative health care educational sessions and mentoring future cohorts. By collaborating with regional non-profit organizations during their Community Action Year, our Fellows actively support food assistance efforts, enhance access to healthy foods, and promote ecological literacy in schools and communities. With no tuition fees, we prioritize accessibility and inclusivity, inviting motivated individuals to apply by March each year for an enriching experience that generally runs from May to October.
