Michelle Jaquish is a passionate Clinical Social Worker and Therapist dedicated to intertwining activism with therapy. She incorporates her direct experiences with anti-oppression, feminist, and social justice frameworks into her work with clients navigating trauma and healing. Michelle recognizes the importance of addressing systems of oppression and is committed to continual self-reflection on her own privileges as a college-educated, cisgender Filipina woman of color. Her expertise lies in fostering alignment within the body, mind, and spiritual values, seeing this connection as vital to the healing process. Utilizing a diverse array of approaches, including clinical case management, dance movement therapy, and creative expression, she crafts a personalized therapeutic experience for each individual. Michelle’s rich personal background as a queer, non-monogamous, first-generation Filipina American informs her empathetic and culturally sensitive practice. With her recent licensure in Oregon, she is ready to support clients through telehealth sessions, blending compassion-focused methods and strength-based techniques to empower individuals of all ages, especially teens and adults, through life transitions, peer relationships, and developing coping skills.
