The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Buckley, WA, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of leaders in sustainable food systems. Through a comprehensive, hands-on training program at the Allegheny Farm Campus, our Fellows engage deeply with principles of social, environmental, and economic justice in food production. We believe in making education accessible, which is why there are no tuition fees associated with our Fellowship, allowing all aspirants to join without financial barriers. Over six months, selected Fellows explore organic farming, manage diversified crops, and implement educational initiatives that promote food and ecological literacy within schools and communities. Additionally, they support local farmers markets and foster direct-to-consumer channels to enhance access to healthy foods. This immersive experience culminates in a Community Action Year, where they apply their knowledge alongside regional non-profits to drive meaningful impact.
