Dr. Steven Eric Curtis is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with credentials in Washington State and New Mexico, as well as being a Nationally Certified School Psychologist and Prescribing Psychologist (in New Mexico only). He serves as Affiliate Faculty in the PsyD Clinical Psychology Program at Antioch University, Seattle. Dr. Curtis runs a private practice, Lifespan Psychological Services, on Bainbridge Island, WA, and is contracted as a prescribing psychologist at the Family Medicine Center at Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM. Specializing in the assessment of children facing neurodevelopmental challenges such as ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and Learning Disorders, he brings a wealth of experience to his practice. With a diverse background, he is adept at collaborating with parents, educators, and healthcare providers to support his patients. His therapeutic approach incorporates a variety of modalities including Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), among others, to foster coping skills and manage stress and anxiety effectively.
