Jennie Polizzi is a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) who understands that life is a journey full of changes, challenges, and triumphs. She believes that no one should have to navigate their experiences alone. With her extensive knowledge and passion for counseling, she empowers clients to harness their natural talents and skills to find motivation, meaning, and resolution through their choices and experiences. Jennie's approach is rooted in meeting clients where they are, treating each individual with dignity and respect, and celebrating the beauty of differences and individuality. Currently completing her PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision (CES), Jennie holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (MS CMHC), a Certificate in Mental Health Services (Cert MHS), a Bachelor’s in Psychology (BS Psy), and an Associate's in Social Science (AS Soc Sci). As a Virginia Board of Counseling approved clinical supervisor for LPC-track Interns and Residents, she also dedicates her time to mentoring and supporting emerging professionals in the field. With over 20 years of experience, Jennie provides compassionate support and therapy across a broad multicultural spectrum, including children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly. She is particularly experienced in working with military populations, survivors of domestic violence, and the LGBTQ community, demonstrating a profound knowledge of trauma-informed care, multicultural perspectives, and developmental issues. Jennie's dedication to her field is demonstrated through her involvement with academic fraternities, honor societies, and various community advocacy associations.
