The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship based in Strasburg, VA, empowers passionate individuals to become advocates for a food system that values social, environmental, and economic justice. Sponsored by the Allegheny Mountain Institute, this unique Fellowship offers comprehensive, hands-on education in organic food systems without charging tuition, ensuring accessibility to all aspiring Fellows. Participants engage in a six-month residential program at the Allegheny Farm Campus, where they learn to grow and distribute diverse crops, implement innovative health education, maintain school and community gardens, and support local farmers' markets and consumer direct programs.
