Julianne Kauffman is an LPC intern whose passion for counseling is deeply rooted in her own journey through anxiety, depression, and trauma. Through her experiences, she has developed effective tools and skills to manage emotions, and she is dedicated to helping others discover what works best for them. Julianne meets her clients where they are, guiding them towards their goals in a way that feels genuine and authentic. She understands that each phase of life presents unique challenges and offers support in coping with life transitions, enhancing communication, and fostering self-awareness. Acknowledging the fears of her clients, Julianne believes in the strength of courage, as highlighted in her favorite quote by Glennon Doyle: 'I see your fear, and it’s big. I also see your courage, and it’s bigger. We can do hard things.' Creating a safe space for personal growth is essential to Julianne; she strives to build a trusting relationship through authenticity, collaboration, respect, and vulnerability. By offering compassion and empathy without judgment, she customizes her approach using creativity, humor, and mindfulness strategies tailored to each individual's unique interests and needs. Helping others is central to Julianne's identity, both personally and professionally. Outside of her practice, she enjoys crocheting, listening to audiobooks, exploring music and podcasts, relaxing with her husband and their rescue beagle, Copper, and cherishing moments with family and friends.
