Jason Elias Wilson, MA, CRC, is a highly qualified therapist with an extensive background in acute care and psychiatric inpatient facilities. He served as the lead teacher at the Psychiatric Institute of Washington from 2007 until its closure in 2015. Transitioning to the role of Psych Counselor in 2015 while completing his graduate studies at the University of the District of Columbia, Jason worked with adolescents and adults until his departure in July 2019. With over 12 years of experience in providing one-on-one and group therapy, he specializes in supporting children, adolescents, and adults dealing with challenges related to anger, anxiety, self-esteem, mood management, PTSD, sexual abuse, identity issues, and substance abuse. Primarily focused on individual therapy, Jason employs a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) framework blended with an interpersonal approach.
