Mind Meld is a seasoned Clinical Social Worker with over 13 years of experience in the military and community service, dedicated to providing high-quality care and support to individuals facing social exclusion or navigating personal challenges. He understands that mental health issues commonly arise when overwhelming emotions are met in isolation. Without adequate support, these emotions can grow, leading to numbness, anxiety, and depression. Mind's aim is to create a safe space where intense emotions can be welcomed, allowing clients to learn emotional regulation together and reintegrate these feelings into their lives, fostering a fuller and healthier existence. Identifying as a cis-gender gay man, he possesses extensive experience with the LGBTQ community, high-risk patients including those with chronic suicidality and substance use issues, and providing compassionate care to adolescents, adults, and groups.
