Barbara Darby is a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Virginia, holding a Master of Science in Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. With over 16 years of diverse counseling experience, she works with adolescents, adults, couples, and families, utilizing a wide range of effective therapeutic methods including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems Theory, EMDR, Mindfulness Based Interventions, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Barbara understands counseling as a partnership—a journey of healing, change, and personal growth that is built on a foundation of mutual trust and respect. Her specialties encompass various life challenges, including life transitions, career changes, anxiety, depression, spiritual problems, co-dependency, trauma, and addictions.
