Located in Louisa, VA, the PRS Recovery Academy Day Program offers a supportive environment tailored to help individuals navigate their recovery journey. By providing a comprehensive psycho-educational curriculum, we empower clients to transition into meaningful community life through work, volunteering, and education. Our program emphasizes health and psychological education with courses in essential life skills such as anger and anxiety management, coping strategies, nutrition, and social skills. We also include crucial topics like spirituality, money management, and grief and loss as it pertains to mental health. Clients typically engage with us for 3-5 hours a day, 3-5 days a week, allowing them to focus on personal recovery goals while fostering connections with others in a similar path. Through the support of our HOPE Fund, we ensure that those who do not qualify for Medicaid or traditional funding still have access to vital services, reinforcing our commitment to making recovery resources available to all individuals seeking support.
