Lindsey Bigelow

Lindsey Bigelow is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Certified Trauma Practitioner (CTP), holding a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. She is also certified in mindfulness-based stress reduction. With extensive experience across various settings—including an employee assistance program, community-based services, and a residential facility for emotionally and behaviorally disturbed youth—Lindsey works with survivors of trauma and adults in individual therapy, including individuals who identify as polyamorous. She specializes in trauma-related issues, anxiety and stress management, and depression. As a certified trauma practitioner, Lindsey utilizes a diverse range of treatment modalities, such as mindfulness, cognitive strategies, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), insight-oriented approaches, strengths-based techniques, and trauma-focused therapies. Lindsey is a strong ally to the Black Lives Matter movement and the LGBTQIA community. Her pronouns are she/her.
