Located in Haymarket, VA, MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion initiatives. Our mission is to systematically screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and connect them with personalized weight management services tailored to their individual needs and preferences. We offer a range of care options, including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! which allows for in-home messaging and clinician support. Veterans who prefer to self-manage their weight can utilize the MOVE! Coach mobile app, while those facing more significant challenges can explore weight loss medications and bariatric surgery after participating in MOVE!. We invite Veterans interested in improving their health to reach out to their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider to begin their journey towards a healthier lifestyle.
